100% Organic Cotton 7 oz. Twill Khaki Futon Cover

The word khaki comes from a Hindi word meaning, "dusty", or "dust". It's been known as a light tan or beige color. Khaki Pants were a favorite of Audrey Hepburn and JFK. There's always been a debate about the difference between khakis and chinos. Khaki was first a color, and then a dye, first patented in 1884. The color was used to help military troops blend into the desert landscape. Then it became an article of clothing, thanks to Lefi Strauss & Co.

This is a 100% Organic Cotton Twill Futon Cover. The cotton is grown in America, and the cover is made in America. Our covers are made with 3 sided hidden zippers for easy installation and removal for machine washing. It's a 7 oz fabric which has been pre-shrunk, and is soft to the touch. The cotton is grown from Non-GMO seeds, and every step of production is GOTS Certified, including the types of water souluble dyes and pigments, the weed and pest control, and the whitening of the cotton. Colors to vary from computer to computer and can look different, so if the color is critical, order a swatch. We carry all common futon sizes, and we can make almost any custom sized item you need. We also sell the fabric by the yard, and offer several sizes of throw pillow covers only, or filled with polyester, or organic cotton.
