Hardware Terms & Policies

Most stores don't sell futon parts — they want you to buy a new futon. We sell futon hardware to help people out, and we put real time into sourcing, sorting, and packaging every order.

Before You Order

Please measure carefully before ordering. We cannot guarantee that any part will fit your specific frame, and colors or styles may vary from photos. Parts are returnable less shipping and handling.

Shipping

It costs us $5.00–$6.00 to ship a hardware order, so we charge $4.95 on most parts orders — we absorb a little of that cost on every order. We ship via USPS only. Most orders are packed and ready within 2–3 business days and arrive in about two weeks. Faster options are available at checkout.

  • Free – USPS 1st Class: Arrives in about 1 to 2 weeks. No tracking. Add insurance if you want loss/damage coverage.
  • $14.95 – USPS Priority Mail: Arrives in approximately 1–7 business days.
  • $25.00 – 1st Class International (Canada): Approximately 7 business days.
  • $48.00 – International Priority Mail (all other countries): Times vary.

Tip: If upgrading shipping, add one item with the faster shipping option, then add remaining items using free shipping. Your entire order ships together at the faster rate, and you're only charged the upgrade once.

Lost or Damaged Packages

We weigh every order to the gram and double-check before sealing. If a part is reported missing and the weight matches, we'll reship it free. If the weight doesn't match, you'll need to reorder. We do not reship lost or damaged packages for free unless you purchased insurance. If your order hasn't arrived after two weeks, wait a little longer — in most cases it still shows up.

International Orders

International shipping carries additional risk. If tracking shows your package arrived in your country but you haven't received it, we'll issue a refund for the parts only once they're returned to us. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

A Few More Things

  • We do not accept phone or mail orders for hardware.
  • All times are business days — we're closed Sundays and Mondays.
  • Shipping charges may be higher for unusually large orders. We'll notify you.
  • We're not responsible for delays due to weather or other causes beyond our control.
