The Creden-ZzZ Essex style is similar to the criss cross design on Tudor style windows. Some dealers call it the Essie, and sell it for way more. It's a newer addition to this very well built, beautiful and economical modern day version of the Murphy Bed. It is a very solid piece of furniture. It comes in 3 finishes. The Ash finish, is a Gray Brushed wood grain finish, on Acacia wood veneer, which shows the natural wood features. The White, is an elegant smooth painted finish, and the Black is a smooth black paint. Watch the video below, and you'll see how easy it is to use, and how quickly it converts to a bed, and back. Just move your stuff towards the back of the top and flip it open, slide open the latches, and release the safety chain, then roll out the drawer, and lay the front down once, and flip it open again. The sleeping surface is flat and supports 500 lbs, so Big even if Big Uncle Bill and Aunt Linda stop in for a few nights, this solid bed will not fail. And with no springs, no rolling to the middle, and never a bar in your back, your guests will wake up refreshed, and happy to be with you. It's also a real space saver and is 23" Deep X 64" Wide X 41.5" Tall. It transforms into a queen bed measuring 64" Wide X 81" long.

The sleeping height with the mattress is 15". Included is a very high quality High Density 6" Foam Mattress, that is specially made to fold nicely into the cabinet when not in use. It is made with a 4" layer of a very firm, supportive layer of foam, with a 2" softer comfort layer on the top.
