This Mattress is made of minimally processed Cotton and contains no Boric Acid Flame Retardant. It does utilize an outer flame retardant layer. It is compressed down several inches for firmness and can be double tufted which also adds extra cotton for extra firmness. It can also be made with no outer flame retardant with a written doctors prescription, and some other signed and notarized legal documents. The Cotton used is not Organic and is not Chemical Free. Chemical Free Futons sell for between $400 and $1400 depending on how they are made. This mattress is made with 4", 6", 8", 10", or more of cotton batting depending on the model chosen. It is then compressed during manufacturing and vacuum packaged for shipping. Once compressed fully, the mattress may measure half it's original size. The outer shell is made with a natural colored Cotton/Poly material. We can custom make this mattress in almost any size or shape that you want. Custom orders can take 2 to 4 weeks, and orders can not be canceled for any reason once production has started. Even if a mattress is lost or damaged in shipping, the order will be replaced, or repaired, but can not be canceled. If you order these mattresses with the extra tufting, we use twice the amount of tufts, or places where the mattress is tied through to keep the layers from shifting or bunching. With this option the feel is a little firmer, and more cotton is added. This mattress has a 4 year warranty against defects in zippers, seams, and tufts, and excludes misuse, or abuse. Stains of any kind void the warranty. You do need to rotate the mattress on a monthly basis to keep it even and level. For any warranty issues the customer is responsible for all shipping charges.
