These have 2 holes, and come with the screws. Some older futons had these stoppers with only 1 hole, and a little tab that went into another hole in the frame. These will work with either kind. If you've never had them on your frame, you need to use a 1/16" drill to drill a pilot hole to prevent splitting. These items come in a pair, and attach to the underside of the seat, towards the front. (Click Instructions below) The thin end of the wedge goes towards the rear of the frame, and the thick end faces the front of the frame, just behind the main support board that attaches the arms. They keep the futon frame in the upright or sofa position. With more than one set, you can convert your futon frame into an upright position, and a more reclined position.
