In accordance with Federal law, all mattresses must be fire retardant. This mattress uses odorless, natural borate as its flame retardant. With a Chiropractor's or Doctor's note, we can make this mattress with no borate.
This is our most popular organic latex and wool mattress. The Comfort Rest features pure virgin wool, USDA certified organic cotton, and chemical-free medium firm Dunlop latex — delivering comfort, long life, and pure supportive sleep.
There are no petro-based chemicals in this mattress. The Comfort Rest is built from three main ingredients, all 100% natural and chemical free: USDA certified organic cotton grown in America, American-grown virgin wool, and EU & USDA certified 100% organic Dunlop latex.
Dunlop latex is the only natural latex available today without chemical additives. It is naturally hypoallergenic, dust mite resistant, and will not support mildew or bacteria. Our latex is manufactured at an ISO 9001 certified plant.
Wool adds remarkable durability — it can flex more than 20,000 times without breaking, compared to 3,000 times for cotton. It is also hygroscopic, absorbing moisture vapor and acting as a natural temperature regulator, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer.
The Comfort Rest is ideal for everyday sitting and sleeping on a platform bed or convertible futon sofa bed, and is well suited for any room in your home.
